Brandon Bal Promoted to Lake States Region Manager

AFM is excited to share that Brandon Bal has been promoted to the role of Lake States Region Manager. He has been with AFM for 18 years and has played a key role in the success of the Lake States Region and AFM as an organization. His various roles include serving as a Technical GIS Forester, Area Manager, and District Manager. Through these roles, he has gained extensive experience in operations management, advanced GIS and technical applications, and overseeing forest inventory projects. These experiences collectively position him well to excel in his new role.

Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Michigan Technological University and is currently completing his Master of Business Administration. He also holds a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in GIS from Pennsylvania State University. Brandon is a Certified Forester® with the Society of American Foresters and previously served as Chair of the Michigan Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) State Implementation Committee (SIC).

Eric Stier, Managing Director, Northern U.S. and Central American Operations, shared, “I am confident that Brandon will do a great job of representing the Lake States Region and will contribute to the continued growth of the region and AFM as a whole.”
