Charlotte, NC—American Forest Management is pleased to announce the AFM Summer Internship Scholarship, a $2,500 academic award designed to support and recognize one outstanding intern who demonstrates a strong commitment to forestry, professionalism, and financial need.

The scholarship is exclusive to students who completed AFM’s 2026 Summer Internship Program and are enrolled in a forestry or closely related college program at an accredited college or university. Interns must submit a 500-word essay explaining how their internship experience at AFM has influenced their career or educational aspirations and contributed to their understanding of forestry. Letters must be submitted to Human Resources by August 15, 2026, and the scholarship recipient will be notified by email if they are awarded a scholarship. The $2,500 scholarship funds will be directly transferred to the recipient’s college or university and applied toward tuition or related academic expenses for the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 semester. Applicants who are interested in learning more about the scholarship guidelines and requirements should consult the FAQ on our Careers page.
