The Skidmore property offers approximately 27,205 acres of forestland in Pacific County, Washington, available for hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, sightseeing, photography, and more. A Walk-in Recreation Access License costs $125 and allows the individual purchaser to access the property by non-motorized means to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Only a limited number of these licenses are available, and the license is valid for the purchaser only and cannot be shared with others.

Access is permitted from one and a half hours before sunrise to one and a half hours after sunset. Seasonal closures dependent on weather may apply at different times of the year, so it is a good idea to check for any closures before planning your visit.

A Drive-in Recreation Access License allows vehicle access for the purchaser, their spouse, and their children under the age of 19. Each Drive-in License comes with one rear-view mirror placard, and both the license and placard must be displayed on the vehicle when accessing the property. Please note that Drive-in Licenses are currently listed as sold out.

Drive-in Recreation Access permits go on sale July 1st and allow access through June 30th of the following year. The public sale date for other permits is listed as to be determined, so checking back for updates is recommended.
