Stan Pelto, Land Surveyor in Houghton, MI, started his career in 1997. He earned an Associate in Applied Sciences in Civil Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in surveying from Michigan Technological University. Stan is a Licensed Land Surveyor in Michigan, and he has his Remote Pilot's License (Part 107 UAS).
Why did you pursue a career in land surveying? I chose surveying as a profession because I was decent enough at math and enjoyed the outdoors.
What do you like the most about your role with AFM? The people and the culture really seem like a good fit for me. I also like that I'll be in the woods more and on the roads less while working.
