Shawn serves a broad region spanning the Florida Panhandle, southern Alabama, and southwestern Georgia. On the Florida side this includes counties such as Bay, Okaloosa, Walton, Jackson, Leon, and Gadsden, among others. In Alabama he covers counties like Houston, Coffee, Dale, and Covington, and in Georgia he works across counties including Dougherty, Thomas, Decatur, and Grady.

Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Florida State University. He is a Registered Forester in both Alabama and Georgia, a Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in Florida and Alabama, and a Florida Prescribed Burn Manager. He also serves as a Florida Tree Farm Committee District 2 Representative and is a member of the Florida Forestry Association.

Shawn began his career in forestry in 1998, giving him more than two decades of professional experience in the field.

Yes. As a Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in Florida and Alabama as well as a Registered Forester in Alabama and Georgia, Shawn is positioned to assist landowners with both forest management services and rural real estate matters across his service area.

Shawn has said that the variety of projects he works on is what he enjoys most about his role. He was originally drawn to a career in forestry because it allowed him to work outdoors rather than being confined to an office.
