Nicole Porter

Nicole Porter serves as District Manager for Montana at American Forest Management. In this role she works directly with landowners across the state to help them achieve their goals and objectives related to forest management.

Nicole has 21 years of forestry experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Forest Management from the University of Montana and is both a member of the Society of American Foresters and a Certified Tree Farm Inspector.

Nicole is based in Kalispell and serves landowners throughout a wide range of Montana counties, including Flathead, Lincoln, Lake, Missoula, Sanders, Glacier, Lewis and Clark, Mineral, Pondera, Powell, and Teton counties, among others. She also covers several counties in northern Idaho such as Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Kootenai, and Shoshone counties.

Growing up in Montana, Nicole developed a deep connection to the outdoors from an early age and knew she wanted a career that kept her in nature rather than behind a desk. Working in the woods of the Rockies brings her both enjoyment and a sense of peace, values that have guided her throughout her 21-year career in forestry.
