Michael Howie

Mike Howie, District Manager in Milford, Maine, started his career in 1995. He has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management and a Master of Science in Spatial Information Engineering from the University of Maine. Mike is a Licensed Forester in Maine, a Tree Farm Inspector, and a Stewardship Forester for the Maine Forest Service Cost Share Program.

Why did you pursue a career in forestry?

I love being outside. I wanted a career to help protect the environment.
