Matt Taylor

Matt Taylor is the Texas Region Manager for American Forest Management, based in Lufkin, Texas. He is also a Certified Wildlife Biologist and has been working in land and forest management since 1998. In his role, he oversees forestry and land management services across a wide region of East Texas and portions of western Louisiana.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Wildlife Management from Stephen F. Austin University. He is a Certified Wildlife Biologist, a Wetland Delineator, a Certified Texas Big Game Awards Scorer, and an Accredited Forester with the Texas Forestry Association. He also serves as a board member of the Texas Forestry Association and is a member of the Texas Wildlife Association and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Upland Game Bird Advisory Council.

Matt covers a broad territory across East Texas, including cities such as Lufkin, Tyler, Nacogdoches, Longview, Beaumont, Huntsville, Conroe, The Woodlands, and many others. His service area also extends into western Louisiana, covering parishes such as Caddo, Bossier, Calcasieu, Natchitoches, Sabine, and several others.
