Kyle Parshall

Kyle Parshall serves as an Area Manager for American Forest Management and is based in South Hill, Virginia. His office is located at 113 N. Brunswick Avenue, South Hill, VA 23970, and he can be reached by cell at (804) 305-1359.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from North Carolina State University. He is a Virginia Certified Prescribed Burner, a Project Learning Tree Coordinator, and a member of the Virginia Forestry Association.

Kyle began his career in forestry in 1996, giving him nearly three decades of professional experience in forest management.

Kyle covers a broad service area that includes counties and cities across central and southern Virginia as well as a significant portion of north-central and eastern North Carolina. This spans areas from the Richmond metro region and Southside Virginia down through counties such as Halifax, Mecklenburg, and Brunswick, and extends into North Carolina counties including Wake, Durham, Guilford, and many others.

Kyle originally wanted to pursue a wildlife degree, but limited job opportunities in that field led him toward forestry instead. He found that forest management naturally supports his passion for wildlife, since nearly every forestry practice directly influences and shapes various wildlife habitats.

Kyle values the collaborative nature of his work at AFM. He appreciates the ability to call on teammates for support when a project demands it and equally enjoys being available to assist colleagues when they need a hand.
