Keith Brown, District Manager in Georgetown, South Carolina, started his career in 1996. He has an associate’s degree in Forest Technology from Horry-Georgetown Technical College and is a board member of the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Forestry and Wildlife Advisory. Keith is a Registered Forester, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, and Certified Prescribed Fire Manager in South Carolina. He is also a Certified Tree Farm Inspector, a Certified Pesticide Applicator, and a member of the Forestry Association of South Carolina.
Why did you pursue a career in forestry? Forestry was very appealing to me as I enjoy being outside and did not want to be stuck behind a desk.
What do you like the most about your role with AFM? Meeting new people, working on unique properties, and the fact that no day is the same as the last.
