Why did you pursue a career in forestry?
Like many 18-year-old kids, I had no idea what I wanted to do after I graduated high school. I knew I wanted a profession that allowed me to be outdoors. Sometime during my sophomore year at Auburn, I discovered their forestry program, and I was intrigued. I had a conversation with the only forester I knew from my hometown. My fate was sealed after that conversation!
