Why did you pursue a career in forestry? I pursued a career in forestry because I’ve always had a strong connection to the land. Growing up, I spent most of my time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and exploring the woods. That time instilled a deep appreciation for natural resources and led me to a profession where I could work outside, manage land responsibly, and make decisions that have a positive lasting impact.
What do you like the most about your role with AFM? What I enjoy most about my role with AFM is the variety it brings to each day. I particularly enjoy working directly with clients to help them achieve their land and timber ownership objectives. I take pride in supporting landowners and helping them meet their personal goals through AFM’s high standards for forest management.
Just as important, I value the people I work with at AFM. Our company has a strong team culture built on trust, experience, and a shared commitment to doing the job right. Collaborating with coworkers who are both knowledgeable and dependable makes our work both effective and rewarding.
