Chris Eades

Chris Eades, District Manager in Coos Bay, Oregon, started his forestry career in 1994. He has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Forest Technology from New York State Ranger School and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Natural Resource Management from SUNY Syracuse. Chris is a Registered Professional Forester in California.

Why did you pursue a career in forestry? I grew up in rural central and western New York areas and enjoyed spending time in the woods. I also worked for a landscaper and developer in high school and college, ultimately deciding growing trees was more rewarding to me than growing subdivisions.

What do you like about your role with AFM? It is incredibly rewarding to do the right thing and meet client expectations. At AFM, I feel engaged by all of the challenges, opportunities, experiences, and people that help me grow personally and professionally year after year. It’s a great place to work.
