Casey Wheeler

Casey Wheeler is a District Manager based in Chehalis, Washington. He has been working in forestry since 2000 and brings decades of hands-on industry experience to his role. At AFM, he enjoys mentoring and sharing his knowledge with developing foresters.

Casey holds an associate's degree in Environmental Conservation Technology from Skagit Valley College and a Bachelor of Science in Timber Harvesting from the University of Idaho. He is also a member of the Washington AgForestry Leadership Program, which reflects his ongoing commitment to the forestry profession.

Casey works out of the Chehalis, Washington office and serves landowners across a broad region of western Washington and northwestern Oregon. His service area covers numerous counties in both states, including Lewis, Clark, Cowlitz, King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston counties in Washington, as well as Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, and several other Oregon counties.

Casey grew up in rural southwest Washington in a family deeply rooted in the timber industry. As a youth, he spent a great deal of time recreating on private timberland, where he observed foresters at work and saw firsthand the positive impact they had on both the forest and the surrounding community. That experience ultimately set him on the path to a career in forestry.

Casey values the culture and social atmosphere at AFM. He particularly enjoys the opportunity his role as District Manager gives him to share his industry experience and knowledge with foresters who are still developing their careers.
