Bartow
S. Shaw
Jr.

As Director/Founder of American Forest Management, Inc., Bartow (Bo) S. Shaw, Jr.
has over 40 years of forestry consulting experience. Bo is responsible for
developing the corporate vision and mission of AFM as well as business
development and maintaining client relationships. He earned his bachelor of
science in forestry from Clemson University and his master of forestry
degree from Duke University. A registered forester in South Carolina, North
Carolina and Georgia, Bo is a member of the Association of Consulting
Foresters, past member of the American Forest and Paper Association Board of
Directors, former chairman of the American Forest and Paper Association CEO
Forestry Committee, past vice chairman of the South Carolina Nature
Conservancy. He is a member of the Board of Visitors for the Nicholas School
of the Environment, Duke University and a Board Member of the Clemson
University Foundation.

Roy E. Belser
Chairman/Director, Forest and Land Management Services
Roy Belser leads the effort to provide forest management services to
timberland investment management organizations, non-industrial private
forestland owners, trusts, and forest products companies. Serving as Senior
Vice President/Director, Forest and Land Management, he assists with the
development and execution of business strategy, sales, marketing, and client
relations. Roy has over 27 years of experience in forest management, timber
marketing, timberland transactions, and landowner relations. Roy holds a
Bachelor of Science in forestry from Clemson University. He is a
registered forester in South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama and a South
Carolina licensed real estate broker. He is a board member of the South
Carolina Chapter of the Association of Consulting Foresters, the South
Carolina Audubon Society, and the South Carolina Forestry Association, and a
member of the Society of American Foresters.

Robert M. Jolley
Chief Executive Officer/Director, Investment Services
Robert (Robin) M. Jolley brings over 30 years of
experience to his position as Chief Executive Officer. Robin’s
focus is on overseeing AFM core operations including timberland acquisition
and sales services, due diligence services, environmental assessment and
investment services.
Robin received his Bachelor of Science from Catawba College and his MF from
Duke University. Robin is a member of the Forest Resources Association
Board of Directors, Society of American Foresters and the North Carolina
Forestry Association.

David T.
Pritchard
President/Director, Corporate Management
David Pritchard, President/Director of Corporate Management has various
management duties including Operating Group coordination, internal
communications, general business management and oversight of accounting
functions. With over 31 years of forestry experience, David is a South
Carolina registered forester and a Society of American Foresters Certified
Forester. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Forestry
degrees from Duke University.

Frank
A. McLeod III
Senior Vice President/Director, Real Estate Services
Frank McLeod, Senior Vice President/Director, Real Estate Services, leads
the effort in the sale and acquisition of timberlands, plantations, farms,
recreation, and development properties. Frank has over 28 years experience
in forestry and real estate. He is a licensed real estate broker in South
Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, West Virginia and Kentucky, a
state certified general real estate appraiser in South Carolina, North
Carolina and Mississippi, a state certified general real property appraiser
in Georgia and Alabama. He serves as Commissioner for the South Carolina
Forestry Commission and is a member of the Association of Consulting
Foresters, Society of American Foresters, South Carolina Forestry
Association, South Carolina Coordinator of the Forest Industries Council and
Board Member of the Congaree Land Trust.

Andrew
C. Ferguson
Director, Appraisal Services
As Director, Appraisal Services, Andrew (Andy) C. Ferguson has more than 17 years
experience working as a forester and forest analyst. Focusing
on the supervision of appraisal services, financial and timber harvest
models, market studies and economic analyses, Andy is a respected timberland
analyst. Andy holds a bachelor of science in forestry and a master of
forestry from SUNY, College of
Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse, New York.

John C. Welker, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President/Director, Technical and Data Services
John Welker brings over 34 years of experience to his role as Director of
AFM’s Technical and Data Services Group. John’s responsibilities include
oversight of data management and Cypress™, technical capabilities
development, enhanced decision support, inventory support and environmental
services including soils classification, wetland delineation and phase I
environmental site assessments. John received his Bachelor of Science degree
in forest management from Auburn University, Masters in Forestry from Yale
University and his Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.

J. Kenneth Hill
Director, Environmental Management

Ken Hill, a graduate of Clemson University, brings over 35 years experience
to the Environmental Management Group. His efforts focus on sustainable
systems consulting, wetlands mitigation banking, conservation easement
consulting, carbon sequestration and forest certification. Ken, former
Eastern Region Manager for Willamette Industries, is a member of the Society
of American Foresters, a RAB Environmental Provisional Auditor, a South
Carolina registered forester, and chairman of the South Carolina Forestry
Commission.
